These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MojiTax learning platform at lms.mojitax.co.uk, the mojitax.co.uk website, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using the Services you agree to these Terms. MojiTax is a UK-registered international tax training provider.
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. You may sign in with a password, a one-time email sign-in link, or a supported social sign-in — each grants the same access to your personal account. Tell us immediately at support@mojitax.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
When you purchase or subscribe to a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the course materials for your own professional education for the duration of your access period. Course materials — including chapters, presentations, mock examinations, tools and downloaded PDFs (which are watermarked with your name and email) — are the intellectual property of MojiTax or its licensors and may not be copied, shared, resold, published or redistributed. Breach of this licence may result in suspension of access without refund and, where appropriate, legal action.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.
Your statutory and contractual cancellation rights are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You agree not to: share or resell access; scrape, download in bulk or republish course content; interfere with the operation or security of the Services; use the Services for any unlawful purpose; or upload content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of others (including in community areas and Q&A).
Our courses, tools, mock examinations and community content are provided for education and examination preparation only. They do not constitute tax, legal, accounting or investment advice, and must not be relied on for advising clients or making decisions in live matters. Tax law changes frequently and content reflects the law as at the date of writing. Certification and examination bodies (for example CIOT) are independent of MojiTax; we do not guarantee examination success.
We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, improve or withdraw course content, features or the Services, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you have paid for.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or examination outcomes.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination for breach, access ends immediately; otherwise access continues to the end of any paid period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (if you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live). If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email to active account holders and apply from the date stated in the notice.
