Your Courses in Your Pocket: the MojiTax App Is Live on Google Play
Android phones and tablets. Free to download. Sign in with your MojiTax account. The MojiTax app is out on Google Play. Sign in with the account you already use on the website and your courses are there: chapters, narrated presentations and the course library, with your progress kept in step with the website. The next twenty minutes on a train, in a queue or between meetings can now be study.
What is in the app. Your home screen opens on where you left off, with your progress, your exam countdown and a suggestion for what to study next. Each course unfolds as a path of chapters and narrated presentations. Download a chapter, a part or a whole course, plus course library PDFs, to read without a connection; downloads refresh whenever you are back online. Announcements from the MojiTax team land on the home screen too.
How it works. Install the app from Google Play and sign in with your email and password, or with a one-tap magic link sent to your inbox. There is nothing to buy in the app: it is a reader for the courses on your account. Anything you own or subscribe to on the website appears in it under the same sign-in, and you manage your plan on the website as you do today.
Good to know. The app is built for Android phones and tablets and needs a MojiTax account: students and trialists both sign in, and course access follows your existing plan. Presentations stream, so they need a connection; chapters and library files download for offline reading on the courses you own or subscribe to.

Taxed Wherever You Go: US Citizenship-Based Taxation from First Principles
By Munachiso Ogu-Jude. Most tax systems attach to facts that can change, where a person lives or where income arises; the United States adds one that follows the person, so a citizen thirty years in London files with the IRS on the same worldwide basis as a resident of Chicago. This briefing works through the system from first principles: Cook v. Tait, the section 911 exclusion and the foreign tax credit, the saving clause that stops a treaty releasing the claim, the FBAR and FATCA perimeter, and the only exit the law recognises, with the 2026 figures checked at source. It is home ground for ADIT Principles of International Taxation, EA Part 1 and the ADIT United States option, and the reading to do before the 29 August session on the Enrolled Agent route.

How to Become a US Enrolled Agent from Anywhere: the IRS exam goes fully remote
Saturday 29 August, 12:00 UK. Online and free. From 1 September the IRS Special Enrollment Examination opens to candidates outside the United States by remote proctoring. On 29 August we take the Enrolled Agent route from the top, and what changes when the exam can be sat from where you live.
